Better watch out
It is a holiday miracle.
I actually have a present wrapped and under the tree and Christmas is still over 2 weeks away.
I am normally a Christmas eve shopper/wrapper/ . . . "ah crap here it is in the sack cause I ran out of time" kind of girl.
Right about now I am so proud of myself. I even bought the gift on Ebay. Go Lori!
BTW, do you think that my Santa wrapping paper is a little scary or is it just me? (Kind of looks like a Santa mug shot). This past summer I went to a garage sale and this family was moving to Florida and they were selling everything including all their wrapping paper/bows/gift boxes/tags etc. and a sweet carrying case for $3. Of course, I bought it. Unfortunately it appears that the family bought up all the ugly paper in town.
I was planning on taking the whole day off today and going to Denver to go shopping with my mom. Unfortunately we awoke to a snow storm-- so we decided to scrap that idea.
So I am going over to her house and we are going to make tamales instead.
See you in about 3.5 pounds : )
PS: Today is my sweet and awesome mother-in-law's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDY! We love you. Hope you have a great day.

Santa really is watching you!
My hubs is in Denver for business this week. Maybe he can come over your house and shovel. I'm sure he is missing having to do it at home.
P.S. Santa is a little creepy
Now, I'm really feeling behind in things. 8-(
But, my presents are bought and those I'm making, almost finished, so I'm not as far behind as I've been... The present looks fine and cheery and that's the important thing... Enjoy the tamales.
santa looks drunk. but that's about right.
so lucky to have found you. we are so much alike (except for your amazing cooking, thrift store magic, me being childless and living in los angeles). our friendship is magical. you're an incredible gift! i love that your son got you the barbie vw van for mother's day. that story made my entire christmas!
